Fact #27: My mouth is on fire!

I'm sitting at the airport in Charleston waiting for my flight back to Pittsburgh. Usually I'm immune to the 'impulse buy', but I always fall for it at airport shops. I have to buy something, no matter what. So I bought a bag of Spicy Chex Mix. Now my mouth is burning. So long, taste-buds. It was fun while it lasted.

Fact #26: It's true, time is relative

Tomorrow is my last day of shooting. It's so strange to think of how fast and how slow a week can go by. Crazy to think that a week ago I was still anticipating this journey. Crazy to think that last Friday I hadn't met most of these people, and crazy to think that I've known them now for all of 5 days when it feels like so much longer.

I'll be sad to go.

Fact #25: I'm baaaaad at taking pictures

I've been here since Sunday and I've taken 10 pictures. What is wrong with me???? Okay, seriously, it's ON today. Watch out for the crazy girl with the camera!!!

Fact #24: I'm a lot better bird-watcher when I have my binoculars

I'm not called today until 4:30pm, so I'm enjoying a nice lazy day. This morning I got up and went for a run around the little neighborhood where I am staying. I saw some pretty birds but I'm not a good enough bird-watcher to know what they were.

Fact #22: Bedtime

I made it! I'm in South Carolina. I'm lying on a high, soft bed in a room filled with dolls. I am being generously hosted by a very sweet older couple. I am so grateful for the hospitality, despite my secret fear that the dolls will come to life in the middle of the night and kill me. But I need a good night's sleep, I have my first day of shooting tomorrow! I can't wait. PS, I am writing this on my dinky little Nokia, so hopefully it will work.

Fact #21: Charleston is in South Carolina

I'm heading down to Charleston, South Carolina today (I'm writing this at 12:08am, so I guess technically it is later today, but it feels like 'tomorrow' right now).

I'll be there for a week working on a film called The Wise Kids with some very amazing, very talented, very wonderful people. I'm suuuuuuper excited!

So for the next week I'll do my best to post every day, but depending on my internet situation, longer posts and posts with pics may have to wait til I get back.
