Fact #169: Lost in thought

One of my favorite things about acting is mulling over a character.

I'm preparing for an audition on Friday, and I've been reading the script and working on the sides. Getting it in my brain. And now, even when I'm not actively working on it, my mind keeps chugging away.

Brushing my teeth, I think about who this girl is and why she is that way. Ideas and memories and emotional connections toss themselves around inside my head. And inevitably I find some connection between who she is and who I am.

So it's a way of analyzing myself too, I guess.
