Fact #64: Okay, I'm calling it

It's fall.

I don't know if it's officially fall, but it's fall.

This morning on my way to the East End Co-op I drove through leaves swirling in the wind. Most trees are still green, but everywhere I look, little patches of yellow and red are starting to show up.

It still gets up into the 70s during the day, but as soon as the sun sets, the chill that's been hanging in the air all day comes rushing back.

This morning I turned the hot water as high as it would go in the shower. I didn't even touch the cold water knob.

I want to put pumpkin in everything. (Especially beer. And pie. And bread. Mmm...)

I also want to put apples in everything. (Probably not beer though.)

A few days ago, I pulled out my long sleeve shirts and hats and scarves from the bin in the basement. Oooh, hats and scarves! I'm not always big on accessorizing, but then again, not all accessories keep my head and neck warm.

I love fall.

Til tomorrow!

Fall makes me happy, I just wish it could last a bit longer! Seems like winter is always nipping right at its heels.
