Tonight we're going to an event called KA-BLAM! III: The Return of Saturday Morning. It's a fundraiser for the ToonSeum. (Which is a cartoon museum.) (Which is awesome.)
We got tickets to the VIP reception where we'll get to meet Caroll Spinney, who played Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street. I didn't watch a whole bunch of Sesame Street growing up, but I always was a fan of Oscar the Grouch. I like grouches.
Anyway, since we're going to be VIP's, I figured I should put in a little effort and dress nice for the event. I'm at work all day, but I brought a cute dress to change into before the fundraiser.
BUT! I just checked the event website, and read this -- Saturday morning pajama dress is welcome and optional.
Why did I bring a dumb dress??? I wanna wear my PJs!!!!!
Sigh. Well, I'm wearing them next time, no matter what event I'm going to.

Ahhh, I remember waking up for Saturday morning cartoons! It was the highlight of spending the night at my friends houses when I was a wee one. Sounds like a great event, too bad you missed out on the awesome PJ option!
